According to regional officials on June 18, Russian assaults around Ukraine have killed at least six civilians and injured at least 49, including a teenage boy, in the last day.
The Donetsk, Dnipropetrovsk, and Zaporizhzhia oblasts were the primary targets of 58 Shahed-type attack drones and decoys that Russian forces fired against Ukraine overnight, according to the Air Force.
The statement said 18 drones vanished from radars or were intercepted by electronic warfare systems, while 12 drones were shot down by Ukrainian defences.
On June 17, a Russian drone struck a village in the Snovsk settlement in Chernihiv Oblast, injuring a 68-year-old woman.
On June 17, a 63-year-old man was killed in a Russian attack on Nikopol in Dnipropetrovsk Oblast, according to Governor Serhii Lysak. An educational institution was damaged, and two additional people were hurt.
