President Bola Tinubu is no longer in office, according to Nasir El-Rufai, the former governor of Kaduna State.
According to El-Rufai, the North and Southeast have a 91 percent unfavourable rating for Tinubu.
He revealed this during a Monday night interview on Prime Time on Arise Television.
The leader of the Social Democratic Party El-Rufai noted that Tinubu has done a dismal job in the last two years in the domains of trade, the economy, and security.
“We need to ask people to decide if they like what is happening,” he stated. This is only two years. If things have improved for you since Tinubu took office on May 29, 2023, then great; but if not, why not give others a chance?
We conducted polls around the nation, especially in the north and southeast, and found that President Tinubu is unpopular with 91% of people, including 78% of people in Lagos.
He is performing somewhat better in the southwestern states of Ondo and Ekiti, where his disapproval rating is over 78 percent, but nowhere in the southwestern states is he performing better than 50 percent.
“The man has left, and his performance was appalling. Everything is going wrong, with the economy stopping, the insecurity architecture failing, and the lack of clear trade and investment policies.
“They are raising lots of revenues but we don’t know where the revenues are going because there are no results.”
